Our Mission Statement:
The mission of the International Student & Scholar Services Office
(ISSSO) is to:

Provide for the special needs
of approximately 4,216 international students, research
scholars, and foreign faculty related to their status as
non-immigrants of the United States. Non-immigrants are
authorized to stay in the U.S. temporarily in contrast with
immigrants who are authorized for permanent residency in
the U.S.

Meet the University of Houston's
responsibility for compliance with the laws and regulations
of the U.S. government.

Promote internationalization at
the University of Houston through our services and programs.
